Thank you for visiting my page. My name is Dean Parker and I am a graduate of the University of Manchester. I offer tailored tuition sessions in KS2 English and Maths, GCSE English, GCSE Music, A Level Music, ABRSM Music Theory exams, university level tutoring in music, and proofreading.
For three years I worked for The Tutor Trust, an award winning education charity in Manchester. This work involved tutoring pupils individually and in groups for primary English and Maths and GCSE English. The pupils I worked with included those below the national average, gifted and talented children, and children who were not in mainstream education. I was also engaged by a Manchester primary school for a year to work specifically with individuals and small groups in English and maths to ensure target levels were reached at KS2 SATs.
I have also taught music privately and on behalf of two of Greater Manchester Music service's over the last two years. This included one to one music theory tuition, tuition for music theory exams at universities, one to one instrumental and vocal tuition, small group instrumental tuition, whole class instrumental and vocal tuition, and directing instrumental and vocal ensembles. In addition, I am a registered examiner for OCR GCSE Music.
