About FRANCIS
I am a native English speaker who has lived and worked in several parts of the UK - so I am used to different dialects and vocabularies that we need to make sense of when visiting different regions, as well as speaking and writing grammatically correct english. I have a strong track record of teaching in higher education, at university.
I believe that learning should be focused but fun. The more we learn, the more we want to know. Teaching is paced according to need and grasp of the language - it is not an easy task learning to speak english, but in my teaching my students come first and we strive for success; my students are the best!

My lessons are a mix of teaching and practice. I will teach the basics of english language use for half the lesson and then we shall practice with the spoken word. Homework will take the form of basic reading and understanding, with the possibility of a written exercise so that it cements learning and prepares you for the next class.
My classes are no longer than 40 mins (they can be longer if you wish them to be)
I hold a Dip TESOL (L7) from the London Teacher Training College with Distinction. I am also graduate of the following universities in relation to my university lecturing,

University of Teesside
University of Cumbria
I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA)
My lessons can be for students up to and including L7 speakers of English Language, although I prefer adult speakers who are new to the language and look to gain additional language skills.
I have nine (9)years experience of teaching, primarily in higher education. Classes are informal and fun!
