About Izzy

My name is Isabelle and I’m 20 years old - currently an undergraduate student of English and History at the University of Exeter. I offer lessons in learning the English language - I did 136 hours of training to receive TEFL qualifications and I would love to pass on what I learnt to those that want to learn. I also offer lessons for English Literature and Language at school (up to and including GCSE level) and History (also up to and including GCSE level).
I love to read and I also love learning languages myself which helps me understand how best to teach. I would love to get to know you and help you achieve your learning goals!
I hope to hear from you!

About the lesson

I approach teaching with a focus on seeing real results, which is done in an interactive and engaging way to best help students learn. I can adapt my approach to what best suits the student with their goals of results in mind. I hope to create a comfortable but effective environment, with both kindness and productivity.

Izzy was hugely helpful when it came to my English, supporting me both while learning and revising and clearly raising my level of work. Combined with the fact that Izzy was patient, kind, and understanding, I could not recommend her enough to anyone looking for a tutor!

Izzy is a rather splendid tutor. She helped me learn all I needed to learn thoroughly and in detail. Because of this, I was able to feel more confident answering questions and in my overall knowledge of the subject. Very good!

Really great tutor, very patient and well-versed in English Literature and Language. Helped me bump up my GCSE English grades by 2, so it really worked out in the end. Very happy with her.
