About Renee
Hi! I’m a passionate, approachable and proud Kiwi English teacher who has always loved languages, different cultures and connecting with people from around the world. Born and bred in New Zealand, I love sharing my language and culture with students while helping them feel confident using English. I’ve taught English in a primary school in Spain and at an international university in Auckland, working with students from beginner to more advanced levels. I love teaching because English opens up opportunities to travel, communicate and connect with people from all over the world. Seeing my students grow in confidence is what makes teaching so rewarding for me.

I believe the best way to learn English is by actively using it, so my lessons are engaging, practical and student-focused. I encourage my students to participate, ask questions and make mistakes without fear. I use visual and hands-on activities, games and real-life situations to help students understand and remember what they learn. Every lesson is structured and tailored to your level, goals and learning style, with a focus on building confidence across speaking, listening, reading and writing.
