About Isabella

I am confident, patient and am able to help and listen to you in regards to your specific needs, wants and musts for learning English. I have a lot of energy and I love to teach and share my stories and knowledge. I am also calm and like to listen and learn about you and create lessons which will be not just useful but also engaging and fun .

I have many years of experience before teaching working in Television and for top companies in London/ I have the unique advantage of funny and interesting anecdotes that make me such the charismatic character.

I am understanding and have taught many different characters so am able to be creative and tangible with lesson style. I understand that some days you will be able to learn more than others and my main goal in the lesson is that you go away feeling happy, confident and wanting to continue learning.

About the lesson

I like to get to know each individual and about their personal interests and hobbies. I feel connecting with my students helps me to understand the best way to teach them and how they learn. I like to play games, create role play, written and conversation tasks that I can later help them perfect and develop. I am keen to help with topic specifics according to their everyday lifestyle and routines and also to teach new vocabulary and culture topics which will help inspire them to learn more.

I am TEFL qualified and have taught ages 7- adults. I have taught groups , full classes and online in both international schools, summer school, summer camps and online.

I have also taught in many countries including Thailand, Singapore, Spain, Poland, UAE, Australia and the UK.

During my own studies, I Volunteered at the UKs national Aquarium teaching people about Marine animals whilst also writing a play with anthropomorphic scientific and environmental references. The play was commissioned by a leading theatre and I also began to work freelance running writing and puppet making workshops in my spare time.

My main goal is to inspire and create fun projects and activities to help students learn and progress.
