About Andrew
I currently work as a Math and English tutor as well as attend college for a degree in Theatre Arts. I am an artist by nature and weave creative spontaneity in everything I do. I earned my TEFL certification during the COVID-19 lockdown, so I could encourage students of all backgrounds that they are capable of learning a new language. Everyone I meet in life has a complex life of their own and I respect that students want to learn English for a variety of reasons. They will master the language and use it to express their truths. As an artist, I understand the possibilities of languages are limitless, and I take pride in being part of the learning experience.

I like to employ a dynamic range of teaching methods to reach students of different backgrounds and learning preferences. I often integrate multimedia, games, and real-life scenarios to make learning an enjoyable and discovery-oriented experience. I like to preface all my lessons with a warm-up activity that will activate students' prior knowledge, followed by introducing new vocabulary or grammar through interactive exercises. The core of my lessons include group discussions, role plays to practice speaking skills, writing/reading exercises, and multimedia resources to reinforce the target subject. These lessons cater to learners of all levels and backgrounds, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for anyone seeking to improve their English proficiency.
