About Mia
As a language learner myself, I know everyone's paths and needs are different. As a language teacher, I have experience and skill adapting to a variety of needs. I speak Spanish and have some proficiency in Arabic, so I know what it's like to learn a new language, and I am here to support my students! I am also TEFL-certified (Teaching English as a Foreign Language).

Lessons can focus on grammar, spelling, culture, or any combination that suits the student. Individualized lesson series can be textbook-based or free-learning. English-learners from any language background are welcomed!
I prefer to hold my lessons in public spaces, where others are speaking English around us, to help students' ears become accustomed to the language. It also offers an opportunity to practice speaking in a real-life situation, if the student is comfortable (e.g., ordering a coffee, asking for prices, etc.).
