About Ajishiya

I hold an M.Phil in English Literature, a Bachelor of Education (MOE equivalency completed), and have over ten years of teaching experience across CBSE and State Board curricula, including Tamil Nadu and Kerala syllabus in India and the UAE.

To strengthen my professional skills, I have completed a Diploma in Early Childhood Development and Education and a 300-hour Level 5 TEFL Advanced Diploma from UK-accredited Premier TEFL London.

About the lesson

Throughout my teaching career, I have taught English to primary-level students with a strong focus on curriculum-aligned learning outcomes. I am well-versed in CBSE learning competencies and the SCERT frameworks of Tamil Nadu and Kerala, including textbook-based instruction, competency-based learning, continuous assessment, and exam-oriented preparation where required.

As an English Teacher, I have:

- Planned and delivered English lessons aligned with CBSE and State Board syllabi
- Developed students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills through phonics, prose, poetry, grammar, and vocabulary activities
- Taught comprehension, paragraph writing, creative writing, and grammar concepts using age-appropriate methods
- Prepared lesson plans, worksheets, question papers, and assessment records as per school guidelines
- Conducted periodic assessments and provided constructive feedback to parents and students

My experience with Tamil Nadu and Kerala State Boards has helped me adapt my teaching strategies to diverse learner needs, including bilingual support where necessary, while maintaining English as the primary medium of instruction. I also integrate storytelling, role play, group activities, and digital tools to make lessons engaging and effective.

To strengthen my professional skills, I have completed a Diploma in Early Childhood Development and Education and a 300-hour Level 5 TEFL Advanced Diploma from UK-accredited Premier TEFL London. These qualifications have enhanced my expertise in lesson planning, classroom management, differentiated instruction, and learner engagement.
