About Marie Judybelle
Hello, I'm Elle! I'm a TEFL-certified English teacher with experience teaching students from across Southeast Asia. I've had the opportunity to work with learners of different ages, backgrounds, and English proficiency levels, helping them build confidence and improve their communication skills in a supportive learning environment.

My teaching approach is student-centered, interactive, and focused on building confidence. I believe every student learns at a different pace, so I adapt each lesson to match their goals, learning style, and English level. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes because that is an important part of learning.
I use a variety of teaching techniques, including guided conversation, vocabulary building, pronunciation practice, grammar in context, reading comprehension, and interactive activities. For younger learners, I incorporate games, visual aids, stories, and repetition to keep lessons engaging and enjoyable. For teenagers and adults, I focus on practical communication skills, real-life situations, and meaningful discussions that improve fluency and accuracy.
A typical lesson begins with a short warm-up or review of previous material, followed by the introduction of new vocabulary or grammar. Students then practice through speaking, listening, reading, or writing activities. The lesson ends with feedback, corrections, and recommendations for continued practice to reinforce what they have learned.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my combination of a Psychology background and TEFL certification. My understanding of how people learn allows me to create lessons that are encouraging, patient, and tailored to each student's needs. I focus not only on improving English skills but also on helping students develop confidence in using the language in everyday life.
My lessons are designed for students aged 7 and above, from complete beginners to advanced learners. I teach General English, conversational English, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, and writing. I also offer Business English lessons for professionals who want to improve communication in the workplace, prepare for meetings, interviews, presentations, or work confidently with international clients.
