About Thato
Hello! My name is Thato from South Africa. I'm an art lover and I like traveling, soul food, and reading new interesting novels. Teaching English and learning new languages is my passion, I am a very patient tutor with online teaching experience so I believe learning a new language helps you tap into different worlds and opens up your own world a bit. I am currently pursuing a qualification in Education and loving every part of it.

I'm TEFL certified tutor and my classes are fun and goal-oriented. First lessons are for building a foundation for our future classes, so you don't have to prepare anything for this lesson. I teach conversation, pronunciation, grammar and writing to help you develop an understanding so that you be more fluent and confident. I use 3 different methods to deliver my lessons and the first one is conversational lessons where we get to choose an article on a variety of articles that interest you and engage in it, this helps you improve your pronunciation, be more comfortable and confident in your English speaking. Second one is activity lessons which include grammar and helps you with sentence structuring, on this method activities will also be offered to check your progress and homework is optional. The last one is enjoyable podcasts video discussions, this method is more suitable for students who want to improve their listening skills and engage in day to day topics. All this methods are helpful and suitable plus you get to have options to choose from. All lessons are offered in English, beginners are also welcomed as I intend to help you reach your language goals. I'm strict in class but very flexible with every student because I understand that each student is different, so each lesson will be offered at the pace that is most comfortable for you.
