About Sue
Hi all! My name is Sue and I’m a native English speaker from beautiful South Africa. I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I really enjoy helping people speak English with confidence and achieve their English-speaking goals. I've taught English as a Second/Foreign Language to hundreds of children, teenagers and adults, and I love it when my students' English skills improve with every lesson. Pronunciation coaching is something I am especially passionate about! I often notice a radical improvement in my students' pronunciation in a single lesson! I am a TEFL certified English teacher. I also have a diploma for Special Needs and a certificate for Business English. I hope to meet you soon!

It’s very important that lessons are fun and enjoyable, so our first class will be about getting to know each other. We'll talk about what you enjoy doing and learning about, your English needs and expectations, and areas of English that you want to improve: conversation, vocabulary, grammar, etc. Then I will prepare a personalized game plan with customized lessons for YOU!
The most effective language learning happens when fully engaged in speaking and listening, and my classes will give you plenty of opportunities to practice your new skills.
My specialty lies in helping students with fluency and pronunciation, so I can help you sound more fluent and natural when you speak English. My classes offer a safe space where it’s okay to practice and make mistakes. That’s how we learn!
My classes are held on weekends.

Perfect! Sue has only done 3 English sessions with my son and I can already see the improvement. She's such a good teacher. High recommend her!!
Perfect! Sue is a great English teacher. She has been teaching my 9-year-old fourth grader his English. My son has multiple English enhancement programs, and his English level is very advanced compared with his peers. Sue has been helping him and making English learning an adventure. Sue has great flexibility and is very serious with her teaching. Sue always comes prepared, which really makes her stand out. Sue is someone we would like to work with for a long time.
- Albert is an amazing young man! We had our trial session yesterday and it was an honor to meet him. At 9 years old, he already has a very positive attitude to learning and participates beautifully in our conversations. I feel confident that he is going to excel in all the English activities we do together.
