Hello future students! I'm thrilled at the prospect of helping you on your English learning journey. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. First and foremost, I'm a mom. Being a parent has given me invaluable experience in teaching and nurturing young minds, and has really helped me to understand how people learn. Teaching my own children has instilled in me the importance of patience, adaptability, and creating a fun and engaging learning environment. My passion for the English language runs deep. I've always been fascinated by its nuances, its power to connect people, and its ability to open doors to new opportunities. This passion drove me to study English at university, where I gained a strong foundation in the language's intricacies. And to add to that, I also hold a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate, which has provided me with specialized training in effective teaching methodologies. I truly believe that learning English can be an enjoyable and rewarding experience. My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging space where you feel comfortable exploring the language, making mistakes, and ultimately, achieving your English language goals. I prioritize building a strong student-teacher relationship. My primary language of instruction is English. I am a native/fluent English speaker. In a typical lesson, students can expect a structured yet flexible learning experience. We'll begin with a review of previous material, followed by focused instruction on new concepts. I incorporate a variety of activities to keep lessons engaging, including: * Interactive discussions. * Reading and writing exercises. * Vocabulary building activities. * Pronunciation practice. * Practical application of learned skills. I will also give students personalized feedback, and assign homework that will reinforce the lessons that were taught. I will also focus on the students' individual goals. Whether that be, test preparation, conversational English, or help with school English assignments. My lessons are for the following: Beginner, intermediate, and advanced English learners.
