About Cilia

I am an enthusiastic teacher who loves helping students build confidence and make progress in their learning journey. With about 5 years of teaching experience, and having taught English to French-speaking beginners in informal settings, I have developed patience, adaptability and strong communication skills, making me a great teacher. I love meeting new people, trying new things and learning new languages. I speak French (intermediate), Chinese (beginner) and Spanish (beginner)

About the lesson

My methodology is student-centered. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor lessons to match individual learning styles, goals, and pace while maintaining a structured and effective approach. I focus on creating a positive, supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable learning from their mistakes, asking questions and expressing themselves freely. My lessons are interactive and practical, with emphasis on communication, confidence-building, pronunciation, vocabulary development and real-life language use.
