TEFL-certified English teacher helping students worldwide speak confidently through enjoyable, practical, personalised lessons.

I know Cantar from church, where he taught Sunday school. I like his teaching style because he is patient when using a teacher-centered method, friendly when using a student-centered method, and explains things in a simple way. He makes sure learners understand before moving to the next topic. He also gave private tutoring to my cousins, and they enjoyed learning from him as he used everyday life to make difficult work easier to understand. I highly recommend Cantar because he is dedicated and passionate.

I am delighted to highly recommend Cantar as a private English Vocabulary tutor on Superprof.

Cantar is a former colleague of mine and an astounding person whose work ethic is impeccable. His willingness to always help others is what makes him stand out from the rest.
He is always striving for the best and will not stop until excellent results are achieved.

I have known Thabo, also known as Cantar, for many years. We grew up together — playing football as kids, sharing the same neighbourhood energy, and eventually attending the same school. From those early days, one thing has always been clear: Thabo is an optimistic person who never shies away from challenges.

That same determination shows in his teaching. Thabo has a deep and natural understanding of English grammar, and he explains concepts in a way that makes students feel comfortable and confident. His lessons are engaging, clear, and tailored to each student’s needs. It’s no surprise that his students genuinely enjoy learning with him.

One moment that stands out to me is seeing how he handles difficult topics. Instead of letting students feel overwhelmed, he breaks things down step by step, always with patience and encouragement. You can see the shift — students start believing in themselves because he believes in them.

Thabo is a true Superprof: knowledgeable, supportive, and committed to helping others grow. I highly recommend him to any student looking for a tutor who brings both skill and heart into every lesson.

I have had the privilege of working with Cantar, and during our time together I have come to appreciate his exceptional dedication, professionalism, and passion for teaching. Cantar is not only knowledgeable in his field but also has the rare ability to make learning engaging, practical, and enjoyable.

What stands out most about Cantar’s teaching style is his patience, clarity, and ability to adapt his approach to suit different learners. He takes the time to understand the needs of his students, explains concepts in a simple and effective manner, and encourages confidence throughout the learning process. His commitment to helping others grow is truly inspiring.

One experience that stands out to me was witnessing how he consistently went beyond expectations to support and guide others. Cantar has a natural talent for motivating people and creating an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills.

I strongly recommend Cantar as a Superprof. Any student who has the opportunity to learn from him will benefit not only from his knowledge but also from his positive attitude, professionalism, and genuine desire to see others succeed.
