I can also speak Japanese and Korean so if that is your native language I also like to incorporate cultural differences into my lessons! When simply memorizing to ace tests may work short term, I make sure my students are able to retain what they learned long term as it’s easy to forget a second language without constant usage.

I firmly believe that learning a language should be fun so I make sure to incorporate students’ interests into my lessons! I also tend to focus on pronunciation because it’s nice to not only know how to speak like a native but to sound like one too!
