About Sonique
Hi there! My name is Sonique, and I am 24 years old. I am from a small town in Limpopo, South Africa, where I live on a citrus and grape farm. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and communication science, and I am currently studying a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in psychological counselling. I have a TEFL certificate, which will help me a lot when assisting students with their English needs. I love seeing people happy as well as playing a role in their happiness. I am a very kind, compassionate, patient, and caring person who will do anything to put a smile on someone's face as well as help them succeed in their goals.

Afrikaans is my home language, and English is my first additional language, which I am fluent in.
I am a very patient, caring, and positive teacher who would do anything to help students succeed at their goals. My classroom is a safe space for all students to ensure that they can confidently learn English.
My lessons are enthusiastic and fun. Students can ask questions whenever they want to, as well as ask me to focus more on a certain topic to help them understand it better.
There is no need to be scared or shy in my class; I am here with a lot of support and kindness for each student.
I would love to help students aged 6–13 at any learning level.
