About Dest
I’m still a high school student but skipped two grades so I will be graduating early. I sometimes tutor kids at my school for extra credit points and just to help if needed. My studies focus on reading and literature, but I’m diverse so I have a wide range of studies that I know.

I focus on equipping students with active reading and effective study strategies to enhance their comprehension and information retention. My sessions move beyond passive reading by incorporating techniques such as guiding students to identify the main ideas and text structures asking them to summarize content in their own words, and using digital annotation tools to highlight key information and jot down questions. We also work on metacognitive skills, encouraging students to reflect on their own thinking processes and reading behaviors to identify areas for improvement
