About Leonardo
"Classical training within the Central European tradition defined my early years of musical development. I hold a BMus in Violin from the Rice University Shepherd School of Music. My 12 years of teaching center on the Auer and Galamian lineage, focusing on the Russian bow arm with strict discipline.
I teach slowly. Technique must be built with absolute correctness so it endures the test of time. Your technical fluency in shifting positions, double stops, and intonation remains the primary target of our work together."

"Sound emerges like heavy silk under the bow when the mechanics are aligned. I begin with a diagnostic assessment before setting the practice plan for your development.
We utilize 10 minutes of structural analysis in every meeting. My 12 years of instruction guide your mastery of spiccato bowing and tone production. Staccato refinement requires patience. Grade exam prep for ABRSM or Trinity happens through rigorous study.
Classical repertoire serves as the vessel for this exacting work. Clarity arrives through repetition. You will achieve the sound you seek."
