About Ashley

Student Tutors consists of exactly what the name contains; students. All of our tutors are either commencing or in the midst of University study. With tutors from the disciplines of Medicine, Biomedical Science, Law, Business, Engineering, Teaching and Psychology, it can been seen that each of us have successfully completed our own schooling endeavours and continue to complete some sort of education.

The proprietor of The Student Tutor Network, Ashley, has been tutoring for over 7 years and had formed the business to be able to give other students like herself the opportunity to help others while studying.

Being students, flexibility is the one of the things we can offer in times of tutoring. Many establishments are on a 9-5 basis, while, our times can change on a daily basis, therefore, allowing students to have lessons before school, after school or even on weekends.

About the lesson

Primary:
At The Student Tutor Network, we cater for a range of students in their early schooling lives. Your child will be set up with a permanent tutor at a regular time that will become apart of your child’s weekly routine. Not only will our tutors become the new role models in the life of your child, but they will help set plans in achieving learning goals in conjunction with you; the parent.

All of our tutors are hand picked and selected to suit their students. Prior to the commencement of sessions, The Student Tutor Network will take the time to get to know your family as well as the educational needs of your child.

Secondary:
High School is a major educational time in any student’s life. The amount of knowledge that is taught and learnt in the space of six years is astronomical. To take full advantage of this educational time and to use a private tutor can make the world of a difference. During our experience with High School Students, especially during the final HSC year, using a HSC tutor in comparison with individual learning can be the difference between ATAR marks or most of all; university offers. At present we have a 93% success rate of our Year 12 students receiving their first ordered offer at the university of their choice when using a Student Tutor. The Student Tutor Network have had students receive offers into courses such as Engineering, Law, Environmental Sciences, Occupational Therapy, Teaching and the Sciences.

One major difference with The Student Tutor Network and other tutoring companies is the age of our tutors and the recent HSC experience of our tutors. We all have completed the HSC within the last 3 years, completing the same syllabus as this current year. We know the recent tricks of the trade in what to do and what not to do. With all of our tutors in their late teens and early twenties, we have the ability to relate to the high school students and therefore, can empathise to any student we come across.
