About Ifrah

My name is Ifrah, I have been brought up in the UK and my family is originally from Pakistan. I am currently studying my undergrad in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, so be assured I know how to use my laptop and make the most out of my time with you. I'm here to help people of all ages and backgrounds learn how to speak English, because although it comes natural to me without even having to think about it, for others it's a challenge and it would be wrong if I didn't share my knowledge with you! I am great at building trust and connections. I will try my utmost best to make lessons fun and engaging rather than you having to listen to me talk all the time. Everyone is different and at different stages in learning English so I'm sure I can help you in some way. Let's achieve your goal together!

About the lesson

My lessons are for anyone learning how to speak English or to perfect their English speaking, reading or writing skills. I will be going through prepared PowerPoint presentations however we can always adjust our lesson to whatever you need :) We can have a lesson for as short as 20 minutes or as long as 1hr 30mins, even if all you want to do is discuss how we can improve your skills together. In my lessons, I am not the tutor and you're not the student, rather we are both one team working towards your goal and I can help you achieve this however you need. I am bilingual, with English being my native language and Urdu being my second language, so I am especially helpful for those who speak Urdu wanting to perfect their English, however since English comes natural to me I am a great fit for anyone. As a tutor I have given some lessons before but as a voluntary act, I want to concentrate and make this into an income for myself. Being your tutor, I am not available just in our lesson time. If you remember something related to your sessions at 2am and can't wait until the morning to tell me, I am just one message away. I want you to think of me more as your friend rather than a tutor :) I'm currently also very flexible with my timings, so I can work around your schedule if we ever need to change the times of our sessions. And most importantly, I'm here to have fun with you!! Learning English should not be hard and morbid, it's a great skill to have and I want to make it a memorable time for you.
