About Teta
I come from a teaching background that goes back many years.
In my career, however, I never rested on one topic, one age group. Although my teaching subject is English, I have tried different age groups, different areas in English teaching (English as a second language, Academic English, Business English, exam-oriented English, school coaching and many more).
I hold a Bachelor in English Language, a Masters in Language Technology, a Postgraduate Certificate in TESOL, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and Working With Children Police Check number.
I am looking forward to helping you master the skills you need or want to!

My approach is simple on the surface but relies on many years of teaching experience:
You need to identify how each student learns the best and how.
Then structure a curriculum that allows errors, has space for improvement and builds independence.
It all seems effortless to the student but there is a lot of hard work under the surface, research and keeping up with the latest learning theories.
My goal is to promote active learning and build my students' critical thinking skills so in the next challenge, they feel confident to try...and succeed!
