About Fan
I was born in China mainland. I gained a Bachelor of Engineering degree from an university in Beijing. I worked for 17 yrs as an engineer in China before I applied for a work visa and came to work in Perth in 2008. Since then I have been working as an instrument and control system engineer for a few engineering companies in Australia.

English has been the favorite subject during my time in high school, which gave me opportunities to learn more about western cultural and compare the differences between East and West. I feel in general the western world lacks of knowledge about China and this is pretty much the main reason leading to the rising animosity the West has towards China. We need to learn about each other more. And I hope I can contribute on this.
I speak Mandarin with no regional accent. My teaching philosophy is to understand students' needs and interests, strength and weakness, then find a most effective teaching approach for each individual.
