About Winnie

こんにちは! (Konnichiwa!) I'm Winnie, and I'm excited to be your Japanese tutor! I teach Japanese from beginner (JLPT N5) to intermediate (JLPT N3) levels. Whether you're starting with Japanese alphabets, basic greetings or diving into Kanji and grammar, I'm here to guide you every step of the way!

My love for the Japanese language stems from my fascination with the country's rich traditions, unique culture, and captivating art forms like manga and anime. As someone passionate about both language and culture, I aim to make each lesson engaging, fun, and tailored to your interests.

About the lesson

*How will my lessons be conducted?

- Online classes through google classroom/video chat.
- Notes and powerpoint slides will be given.
- Face to face classes are also available depending on student's location (but will cost an extra fee).

*How long will the class be held?
1 class = 1 hour

*What are my qualifications as a Beginner/Intermediate Japanese tutor?

- SPM Level Japanese (For students, I can help with homeworks, exams preparations and student exchange programs based in Japan :D)
+3 years of personal tuition with my sensei from Japan
+Experiences from student exchange program in Japan

*Who are my target students?
- Students who are interested in learning Japanese language from scratch
- Students who need help with homeworks, exams preparations and student exchange programs

Perfect! I had a great lesson with Winnie. At first I was a bit nervous, but her calm and friendly attitude made it so much easier to relax and enjoy the class. She came well prepared with materials and a clear plan which I really appreciated. This shows that she puts effort into what she does and provides value for your money.

One thing that stood out was the inspiring story she shared about how she accomplished her goal of going to Japan. Her school had a program where only the top 3 Japanese students could go so she worked hard and earned her spot. That really motivated me to keep going with my own studies.

If you're thinking about learning Japanese I highly recommend booking a lesson with Winnie. She's knowledgeable, super supportive and easy to talk to. You’ll feel motivated and comfortable when taking lesson with her.

A very open-minded person with many valuable knowledge as well as good learning skills. The most fun part about having Cole as a student is the fact that we are able to talk about many different kind of knowledge and sharing various types of learning experiences!
