About Daniela
Born in Switzerland I grew up bilingual. At home, I spoke German with my parents, but all my friends were French-speaking.
I am a physician and ophthalmologist but since we moved to NZ 2.5 years ago I am mainly mom.
My elder daughter is in Highschool and I followed her learning all the steps of learning French since year 6 back in Switzerland.
I often do homework with her and try to practice French with her in my daily duties. This way she does not feel any pressure and finds it even fun. I try to emphasize repetition, without getting too boring.
My younger daughter is in year 7 and she wants to start to learn French on a basic level to be ready for high school.
During my studies, I enjoyed teaching young kids and taking part of their progress.

Lessons of 50 minutes, split into active speaking of 20 minutes., grammar, writing, and vocabulary will cover the rest of the lesson.
The student will have to repeat and recapitulate the lesson for the next unit and profound what the student has learned.
Lessons can be for young kids ( from 7 years on) to get in contact with a second language in a playful way.
Lessons for students are available until Year 10 in high school.
Special preparing for exams on request.
