About Hiten
Hi, I'm Hiten, a recent GCSE student with top predicted grades, including Grade 9s in Biology and Chemistry and Grade 8s in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Geography, and Religious Studies. Having recently completed these courses myself, I understand the challenges students face and the techniques needed to succeed in today's exams. I am passionate about helping students build confidence, improve their understanding, and achieve their academic goals through clear explanations, patient support, and effective exam-focused strategies. Throughout my own studies, I developed revision methods and problem-solving approaches that helped me consistently perform at a high level, and I enjoy sharing these skills with others. As a tutor, I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. I chose to become a tutor because I find it incredibly rewarding to help others progress and gain confidence in subjects they may find difficult. By combining strong subject knowledge with recent firsthand experience of GCSEs, I can offer practical advice on revision, exam technique, and study habits while tailoring lessons to each student's individual needs, helping them reach their full potential and achieve the best results they can.

As a recent GCSE student predicted an 8 in Maths and Further Maths, I understand the current GCSE specification, exam techniques, and the challenges students face because I have been through the course myself. I can explain difficult topics in a simple and relatable way, helping students build confidence and develop a strong understanding of key concepts rather than just memorising methods. Having recently completed my GCSEs, I am familiar with the types of questions that appear in exams, common mistakes students make, and the revision strategies that are most effective. My aim is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and can improve both their mathematical ability and exam performance, whether they are aiming to pass or achieve the highest grades.
