About Mily
I want to teach because I know that English can sometimes feel overwhelming or difficult, especially when there are lots of texts, quotes, essays and exam techniques to remember. I want to help students realise that they are capable of understanding and enjoying these subjects when they are taught in a way that makes sense to them.
As someone from Gen Z, I feel I can bring a fresh, relatable and creative approach to learning. I understand how important it is for lessons to feel engaging rather than intimidating, and I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and growing in confidence.
More than anything, I want to help students believe in themselves. Whether someone is struggling with a particular topic or aiming for the highest possible grades, I would love to support them and help them reach their full potential. My goal is to create a kind, encouraging and enjoyable learning environment where students feel excited to learn and proud of their progress.
I’m a friendly, patient and creative person, and I genuinely care about helping others succeed. I would love the opportunity to share my passion for English and help GCSE and A-Level students discover that literature, poetry and creative writing can be not only understandable—but genuinely enjoyable too!

Hi! I’m Mily, I’m 19 years old, and I’m a passionate, friendly tutor who would love to help make English exciting, enjoyable and easier to understand!
I studied A-Level English Literature and I am currently studying Creative Writing with Honours at university. I have a real love for literature, storytelling and poetry, and I want to share that passion with my students.
Whether you need help with English Literature, analysing texts, essay writing, creative writing, poetry, grammar, or simply building confidence, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
As a fellow Gen Z, I understand that traditional ways of learning don’t always work for everyone. My aim is to make lessons fun, engaging and tailored to each individual student, finding new and creative ways to explain things so that they genuinely make sense. Learning shouldn’t feel scary or boring—it should be something you can feel confident and excited about!
I am kind, patient, encouraging and approachable, and I believe every student has the ability to excel when they are given the right support and encouragement. Whether your child is struggling with English or wants to challenge themselves and achieve even more, I would love to help them reach their full potential.
