About Krish
Hello, my name is Krish and I am a current A-level student predicted 3 A* in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I am currently head boy at my school and I am going to study medicine next year. I achieved grade 9s in all these subjects and have had previous tutoring experience. Outside of academics I love sport, especially badminton where I compete at a national level. My unique selling point is that I have very recently completed these GCSEs achieving grade 9s. So I can think and explain in the mind of the student - considering I am a student myself. I think it is crucial for student-led learning and that is what my lessons are all about. Students will contact me prior to the lesson on what they would like to cover and I can then tailor the lesson directly to their needs. Lessons are in 3 phases: 1. Identifying the student's current knowledge and understanding. 2. The teaching phase where I target key areas which the student is struggling with or has a misunderstanding. 3. The practice question phase - this allows students to use real questions to test and consolidate their knowledge and understanding of the topic and therefore will be more confident in answering similar questions in the exam. During phase 3 I will also teach them how to go about answering questions ensuring they have excellent exam technique embedded within them from the start.
