About Alena
I am 16 years old and I’ve been professionally dancing since I was two. I’ve done many competitions and performed in a bunch of shows. For the past year I’ve been teaching different styles of dance to different ages. I’ve taught groups from the age of 7 all the way to age 14. I’ve been dancing in many different countries, and I have also studied Russian ballet in Russia. I speak two languages, Russian and English, and I’ll be happy to help anyone with their passion for dance!

My classes are usually really fun because the program is made specifically for kids and for them to understand concepts of dance. We go through a bunch of technique drills including; pirouettes, leaps, small jumps, floor work and more. Typically the class incorporates small games during technique, which makes drilling technique much more fun, especially for little kids. However, it’s not all just about fun, it’s also about introducing your child to the real world of dance. It doesn’t matter if they want to continue doing it professionally, or just recreational dance, my program is different for everyone and it’s super fun!!

Along with being a super talented dancer, Alena also takes great care in the way she communicates and teaches. She also has a great understanding of how the body moves and how to prevent injuries. Above all, she has a great passion for dance and teaching along with the patience to adapt to individual students and their needs.
