About Kathryn
I have been a substitute teacher in K-6 classrooms for the past year and a half. It has been a joy to teach elementary school students with creativity while still sticking to classroom objectives and goals for learning. I am currently finishing my teaching credential and Masters simultaneously.

The primary goal of my classroom is to teach students principles in addition to knowledge in each subject matter using creative methods. By applying principle and practice of Universal Design for Learning, my hope is to create more opportunities for accessibility and fun in the classroom.
I believe that children should be given accessible, creative avenues to knowledge. While I believe that it is important for my students to grow in knowledge, I want to see students excited to learn. I desire for my students to grow in character and practical skills that they can bring outside the classroom so that their knowledge can transform into wisdom, even as they learn Common Core subjects.
