About Georgia
I first started learning Korean as a hobby in 2019, and fell in love with how systematic and well thought-out the language structure is. I taught myself with online resources for two years, before deciding to study Korean Beginners for the HSC (as I was self-taught, I was ineligible for the Continuers course). I received straight A's throughout year 11 and 12, placing 2nd overall in the course in Year 11, and 5th in Year 12 with a HSC mark of 97/100. In 2024, I spent 3 months in Seoul, South Korea, undertaking an intensive Korean course. I plan to study and work in the field of speech pathology or linguistics in the future.

Why me?: As a non-native Korean speaker, I have the unique advantage of knowing what it's like to learn Korean from zero. Having tried various learning methods throughout my own learning process, I am confident in my selection of the most effective teaching methods – while also understanding the importance of catering to each student's individual learning style.
My lessons are available for beginner to intermediate Korean learners of any age. I also offer specialised tutoring for the HSC Korean Beginners course, to help students maximise their exam performance in all areas (reading, writing, speaking and listening). My standard teaching plan covers a wide range of grammar and vocabulary, which I will tailor to fit you!
