About NIDHA

Hi! I'm Nidha, a college student at UKM. I'm thrilled to offer my services as an English tutor because I truly believe that everyone can learn to love reading and spelling. My goal is to create a fun and supportive learning environment where students can develop their skills and reach their full potential. I'm passionate about helping students build their confidence and discover the joy of language. Tutoring is a way for me to earn some extra income while I'm in school, but more importantly, it's a chance to develop my own skills in a professional setting and make a positive impact on a student's learning journey.

About the lesson

My approach to English tutoring focuses on building a strong foundation in phonics and phonemic awareness, which are essential for both reading and spelling. I begin with a thorough assessment to understand each student's individual needs and learning style. From there, I create personalized lesson plans that incorporate engaging activities, such as word games, interactive online resources, and age-appropriate texts. For reading comprehension, we'll explore strategies like summarizing and making connections, while for spelling, we'll focus on understanding patterns and rules rather than rote memorization.
I understand that every child learns differently, and I'm committed to create a learning experience that is both effective and enjoyable.
