About Andrew
I’m an enthusiastic and approachable math tutor for students in grades 7–12 who love helping students gain confidence in math. I make lessons clear, engaging, and tailored to each student’s needs, breaking down tough concepts into manageable steps. My goal is to create a positive, supportive environment where students feel motivated, comfortable asking questions, and excited to improve their math skills.

My teaching approach is to connect with the student and to understand their perspective on the subject. I tend to break down math problems to make it easier for the student to understand. A typical session would be 1 hour, but I am flexible and open to longer or shorter sessions. I've been tutoring for around 3 years with a mix of experience as a university tutor, high school tutor, and also as an online tutor. I can teach Math from Year 7 to 12. I've also specialized in other science subjects such as Biology and Physics, upon request.

Even though Andrew is a math tutor, he helped me a lot with my marketing analytics subject using SPSS. I came back to university after 27 years and started from zero with SPSS, but everything was explained in simple and easy way. Andrew was very patient and supportive, and thanks to him, I finally understood the subject and could work on my assignment confidently. Plus got a good grade too. Highly recommend!
