I was always struggling with my confidence in Math when I was in school. My one focus is to make students more confident rather than make them "smarter". Every student I've met is smart, they just needed confidence in themselves

I like to focus on what works for the student and their learning style. I typically begin with a half hour to an hour long session to get to know the student and what works for them and what is the best way to improve their confidence in themselves and their maths skills.
