About PHILLIPS
Teaching has always been my way of giving back. While my long-term path to serving the community is through medicine, tutoring allows me to make an immediate, positive impact on students right now. As a second-year medical student at Universiti Malaya—having achieved 6As, 3A+s, and 1C+ in my own SPM—I know exactly what it takes to navigate the Malaysian syllabus successfully.
Medical school requires staying calm, focused, and adaptable under high pressure, and I bring that same composure, positive energy, and structured discipline into every lesson. I want to teach because I remember the academic stress that comes with secondary school, and I know how life-changing it is to have a mentor who truly believes in your potential.
My goal is to share the study strategies, problem-solving mindsets, and exam techniques that helped me succeed. Through focused, 1-hour online sessions for Form 1 to Form 5 students, I want to help you master your syllabus, overcome exam anxiety, and build the confidence you need to achieve your absolute best.

My approach is focused on helping Form 1 to Form 5 students master their syllabus and score well in the SPM. Instead of relying on memorization, I break complex topics down into simple, clear steps so students truly understand the core concepts. We also practice real SPM past-year questions together, learning exact marking schemes and answering techniques so they feel completely prepared for their exams.
Lessons are conducted online and run for one focused hour to keep learning active and engaging. Whether a student needs to build a strong foundation in lower secondary or sharpen their exam skills for Form 4 and Form 5, the lessons are tailored to their current level.
As a second-year medical student at Universiti Malaya who scored 6As, 3A+s, and 1C+ in the SPM, I know firsthand what it takes to succeed in this syllabus. I use my own academic experience and study methods to help students tackle tough questions with confidence.
