About Yasminalai
I am someone whose love for English was first developed in school, where I began writing short stories and experimenting with creative expression. What started as a simple enjoyment of storytelling gradually blossomed through reading widely and studying English Literature more deeply. Through this, I came to appreciate that words rarely have just one fixed meaning, they carry layers, emotions, context, and intention.
Studying literature opened my eyes to the power of interpretation: how a single line can reveal different truths depending on perspective, historical context, or the writer’s purpose. It taught me to think critically, to question, and to look beyond the surface. That same passion shapes the way I teach. I encourage students not just to memorise quotes or techniques, but to truly engage with language — to analyse thoughtfully, write confidently, and develop their own informed interpretations
