I am a NY Jazz vocalist who is inspired by teaching, as well as learning from her student's growth and dedication. I have been teaching ages ranging from 4-80. I have experience working with different neuro types and communication/learning styles.

I teach from a foundation grounded in the Bel Canto tradition, emphasizing healthy vocal production, efficient breath coordination, vocal freedom, and expressive communication. While rooted in classical technique, my approach is highly adaptable and supports singers across a wide range of contemporary styles, including musical theatre, pop, jazz, folk, and singer-songwriter genres.
In addition to vocal technique, I specialize in jazz singing and lyric interpretation. I help singers cultivate musical phrasing, rhythmic flexibility, stylistic authenticity, and a deeper connection to the text. Through careful exploration of language, storytelling, and emotional nuance, students learn to communicate meaningfully and authentically with their audience.
Whether working with beginning singers or experienced performers, my goal is to foster technical excellence, artistic growth, and a lifelong appreciation for the voice as an expressive instrument.
