About Tammy
I have been teaching for 20+ years and I have a Masters Degree. Throughout my years of teaching I have had the opportunity to train with some of the best reading and phonics programs like Orton Gillingham, Heggerty, and Spire. I am all about meeting the student where they are in their learning journey and I firmly believe in confidentiality when it comes to work with my students.

I use different strategies that I'm certified in and have taught for years to teach reading that allow even students with dyslexia a learning opportunity while using these techniques. These strategies have been used with students from Prek through high school especially with struggling readers. Lessons would teach phonics, phonemic awareness, blending, and fluency. I will also be teaching writing: letter formations and writing techniques. I love teaching and I love seeing students succeed! I can make these strategies and techniques work with any struggling reading or anyone struggling with writing. My schedule is flexible.
