About Heidi
I have a B.S in Natural Sciences, a MS in Psychology, and a K-6 PA teaching certification. I have been teaching elementary students for 14 years and the prior 18 worked as a microbiologist and chemist. I am also currently doing nightly tutoring of students via zoom.

I like to first know my students and what their needs are. Where are they stuck (if they are) - I try to find a new approach to helping them understand the content and make learning fun. I also end my sessions with a 5 minute word game - it helps the students wind down and change mind sets.
