I bring all of my experience to the table. Unlike a class or a group tutoring session, the entire focus is on the student's needs---we won't waste time practicing things that the student doesn't need help with, which will allow us to target the specific skills that the student needs to develop for success.

I'm a 15-year teaching veteran with a master's degree in Literature and Education from The University of Florida. I work with students to identify how they best learn, and tailor my instruction to meet their needs. I've taught and tutored middle-high school for 15 years with great success. My AP pass rates have consistently been around 85%, and I haven't had a single student I was tutoring not pass the exam (usually with a 4 or a 5). I have had similar success rates with ACT and SAT reading and writing and can help with any area of need in the English Language Arts classroom.
