About Susan
In 25 years of teaching, I am most proud of the relationships I have developed with my students. Even as a full-time teacher with 120 students each year, I work hard to successfully develop individual relationships with every child. By showing my students that I am genuinely concerned for their success, they learn to trust me enough to take risks in their learning and expand their thinking.

After meeting a student and finding out their interests, I develop my lesson plans intentionally around those interests in order to keep students interested and engaged. I break more complex ideas down into simple steps to be followed for success.
