About Anne
I obtain great joy from helping people to understand what they find difficult. My first introduction to teaching was when I ran a literacy class for inner city children in London. This gave me a sense of how rewarding it is to enable another person to break through barriers in learning. I have a patient approach to tuition, and can scaffold learning very quickly, so that you can progress in attainment from the introduction to a concept towards mastering it in a short space of time.

My lessons last typically 1 hour. I have worked as a tutor for over a decade. I have a Bachelor of Education degree, as well as a Master of Arts Degree in Education. .I teach Key Stage 1 to GCSE. I also teach post 16 in English. My approach to tuition relies on the individual's learning style. I tailor explanations to what suits the student, offering step-by-step explanations.
