About Paul
I am a teacher-in-training, currently enrolled in Appalachian State University's Certification Program in Middle and Secondary Teaching. I hold a Master in International Studies degree (MIS) from North Carolina State University and a BA in History with a minor in Political Science (magna cum laude) from University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
I love world history, political science, cultural geography, global studies, international relations, and related subjects. I would love to share my knowledge with students - perferably online - and to learn from them in return.
What's more, I am enrolled in a 160-hour TEFL course, so I could also teach English as a Second Language.

* Prefer to teach students in middle school and high school.
* Am also be open to teaching adults.
* Would prefer to teach virtually via Zoom or a similar platform. This would give me the flexibility to teach students from all over America and across the globe.
* My approach would involve giving thoughtful, well-organized PowerPoint presentations followed by lively class discussions.
* Would also assign discussion questions via online platforms such as Moodle or Blackboard.
