A teacher to the core. An anthropologist, a mathematician, a reader, a writer. Teaches math, English, and literature to all students from grade school to high school to college and beyond.

Student was terrific. Receptive to learning, able to really focus on the subject and problems they were solving. Was very open to learning how to approach a given math problem, which gave them a sense that a problem could be solved. The very much responded to seeing the problem as a story, with characters and a plot. They do recognize that they need to focus, read the problem out and figure out the characters, and then solve the problem. Math here is a lesson in patience :-)
