As someone who has gained their PGCE from UCL, the methodology reflects the current trends in history teaching. Also, this qualification is backed up with two years of teaching in inner city London schools, and previous two years of tutoring experience pupils preparing for their GCSE and A level exams. Furthermore, lessons can be tailored around the student's needs. Lessons are typically an hour long.
