About Amy
I've been teaching one-on-one for 20 years, with great success. I've worked with kids of all ages & abilities, from early, enthusiastic readers to those who struggle still in middle school. I believe phonics and grammar are foundational skills for every student, and that finding what clicks in each student's brain, and how they learn is key.

I use the Orton-Gillingham phonics method as a base for learning to read, along with Dianne Craft's methods for helping struggling learners, particularly "right-brain" learners, especially those on the dyslexia spectrum. Grammar: 1st Language Lessons, et al
