About John
The one thing that I desire to do more than anything is to make you realize that civics is fun. Every student that walks out of my classroom fully embraces this idea. It is because of this that I have successfully led over 93% of my students to a passing score on their Florida Civics EOC. I also teach a local adult club that is seeking to become more knowledgeable in the function of our government.

I teach civics in a way that will make the student fall in love with civics. My motto is civics is fun, and with me you will see why. From rote memorization activities to higher-level thinking practices that require students to create content for other students to utilize, every student will walk away with a greater appreciation for and higher knowledge of how our government was designed and operates.
Students will have daily vocabulary words they will be responsible for learning and then turning into crossword puzzles for other students to complete. Lessons will also include reading and writing to demonstrate a higher level of understanding of the material.
These lessons are suitable for middle schoolers or adults seeking to enhance their knowledge of our government.
