About Jo
After university I worked for a company investigating fraud but I wanted to do something to help young people fulfil their ambitions so I retrained to be a teacher. It has been the most rewarding experience and I am so happy I made the change.

I have experience teaching and tutoring a range of ages. I use a range of strategies to ensure my students develop a deep understanding of the content and inspire a love of learning chemistry! As an examiner for different exam boards I have a good understanding of how to teach my students how to decode exam questions.
