About Sheldon
I am a dedicated educator with a deep-seated passion for making the complex world of science accessible and engaging. My academic journey led me to earn dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Biomedical Sciences from the University of Central Florida. I am also currently in pursuit of an MS in Computational Life Sciences at Arizona State University. This rigorous background provides me with a comprehensive understanding of the subjects I teach, from the fundamental principles of chemistry to the intricate systems of human biology.

My teaching philosophy centers on active application rather than passive memorization. I utilize a "scaffolded" learning model: we begin by identifying the core logic of a concept, then move into guided problem-solving, and finally transition to independent mastery.
