About Catherine
Hello! I’m Teacher Catherine Mijares, a passionate and dedicated educator with a Bachelor of Elementary Education degree, which I earned in 2022 as a Cum Laude graduate.
I have several years of teaching experience with learners from different age groups and educational levels. I have taught students from Grades 1–6, as well as Grades 9–10, giving me valuable experience in adapting lessons to different learning abilities, personalities, and academic needs.
As a teacher, I believe that learning should be engaging, meaningful, and enjoyable. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, expressing their ideas, and learning from their mistakes. I use clear explanations, interactive activities, visual materials, practical examples, and personalized strategies to help students understand lessons more effectively.
My goal is not only to help students improve academically but also to build their confidence and develop a positive attitude toward learning. I am patient, approachable, responsible, and committed to providing lessons that are appropriate for each student's level and learning goals.

My Approach as a Tutor
As a teacher and tutor, I believe that every learner has a unique way of understanding and learning.
