About Karen
I have been teaching business studies since 2005 within comprehensives, private schools and through personal tutoring. I recently took voluntary redundancy as I hope to relocate, so for the interim I am working on supply, so flexibility is an option.
My last full time A2 class was categorised as ALPS 1 which means that the attainment in the class was in the top 25% of the country.
I also have previous experience in industry, in various management positions, so am fully aware of the expectations in this field, and the usefulness of the skills utilised throughout this subject.

Teaching can be done through group or individual discussions; small set tasks completed under my supervision and longer based exam questions that can be set for practice inbetween sessions to fully allow you to apply your knowledge and consolidate your understanding. Pupils are encouraged to ask questions and share any areas of concern or misconceptions that they maybe not feel comfortable in doing in a formal classroom setting. I look forward to hearing from you!
